The NJP for the floor, by Oki Sato (nendo)

The NJP Floor extends Oki Sato’s 2015 NJP task-lamp language to free-standing form. The same precisely articulated arm and rotatable shade, now stationed on a slim cylindrical base designed to slot beside a reading chair or sofa without dominating the room.

Light concept
Integrated, dimmable LED at the head. The arm articulates and rotates so the light cone can be aimed precisely task light for reading, accent light for ambient use.

• Arm, joints & head: Aluminium and steel, powder-coated.
• Base: Steel, weighted for stability.
