Description

The Lux is a 5-light chandelier from Mantra built around five continuous polished chrome loops, each holding a sculpted glass shade at a different point along its curve. The chrome loops intersect and overlap in three dimensions, creating a sculptural framework 780mm wide and 750mm deep that suspends from a triangular ceiling plate. Each of the five G9 bulbs (sold separately) sits inside a hand-formed glass shade with an irregular, organic profile that mixes clear and frosted surfaces.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Lux provides five independent light sources distributed across a wide horizontal plane rather than a single central drop. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 200mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be set closer to the ceiling in rooms with lower heights or raised higher for dramatic effect over a long table.
