Ixia Amethyst, also known as Duck Egg Blue or Turquoise Ixia. Is a rare and eye-catching spring-flowering bulb prized for its luminous blue star-shaped blooms. Flowering in late spring. Tall stems rise above fine grass-like foliage, creating beautiful movement and making an excellent cut flower. Well suited to Australias warmer climates, it thrives in full sun and free-draining soil. Bridging the gap between spring bulbs and summer perennials. Slow to increase and highly sought after, this striking plant is ideal for borders, drifts or containers and rewards patience with an unforgettable display.
