The Graypants Alki Pendant is part of the celebrated Scraplights collection, where recycled materials are transformed into sculptural lighting. Handcrafted from natural recycled cardboard, the pendant brings warmth and texture to interiors while maintaining the layered aesthetic that defines the series. When illuminated, the corrugated cardboard gently filters the light, creating a soft and intimate glow.

Each shade is precision cut using a laser, revealing the layered structure of the cardboard and producing the distinctive darkened edges that characterise Scraplights. Every pendant is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant, ensuring both safety and durability while preserving the natural quality of the material.

The Alki design takes inspiration from the natural environment surrounding the Graypants studio in Seattle. Its organic form is influenced by pebbles gathered along nearby beaches, translating these simple natural shapes into a refined sculptural pendant. The result is a lighting piece that feels calm, tactile, and closely connected to the landscape that inspired it.
