Elephant Garlic, also known as Russian garlic, is actually not a garlic at all, but actually a leek! But with it’s great flavour, large cloves and spectacular flowers, it has endeared itself in Australian gardens for generations. Its enormous 4-5cm cloves are so mild they can be sliced straight into salads and stir fries. Worth growing for the mauve balls of flower alone, this species was popular in rural gardens in Australia for it’s resilience, beauty and flavour. Each bag contains 2 heads or 8 individual cloves.
