Kapitein Kalk – Autumn

A magical lantern festival comes alive as children with glowing lights process through an enchanted forest dotted with vibrant red and white spotted mushrooms. Swirling autumn leaves dance against the deep teal sky while colorful figures wind their way through the mystical scene, their lanterns casting a warm glow across the whimsical woodland floor.

Kapitein Kalk (Geertje Kapteijns) is a Dutch artist whose enchanting chalkboard drawings are inspired by Waldorf education’s seasonal celebrations and the magic of childhood. Her distinctive works transform simple blackboards into luminous scenes that capture the essence of special moments and festivals, bringing light and color to dark surfaces in a way that invites conscious reflection on the rhythms of the year.
